Edgecumbe spreaders is a locally run business that offers a premium ground fertiliser spreading service. We are dedicated to our work and are always looking to deliver a service that meets the demands of our clients. We proudly support the local community in the Eastern Bay of Plenty and back New Zealand farming.

We run a mix of late model equipment with diverse qualities to best meet a variety of farming needs. The fert trucks are all light tare weight to ensure minimal damage to pasture and we have a truck fitted with a blower to access the difficult areas. In our fleet we also run a unique JCB fert spreader that runs very low ground pressure which is suited to cultivated ground and winter nitrogen application. This machine can get jobs done that spreading trucks can not and is the only one currently in NZ. It is extremely versatile with rear wheel steering and is fitted with a unique bin and return chain allowing us to spread organic mix as well. For efficient application of products we have a CASE industrial loader to bring on site to load our spreaders with product that has been delivered directly to our clients farms. Over the summer and autumn we offer specials on out of mill lime. The out of mill lime is 30% cheaper then standard lime but has the same levels of calcium. Edgecumbe spreaders offer a staggered payment plan with this product.

All of our spreaders are equipped with the TracMap GPS which works as a cloud-based job management system. We can map out our clients farms then record detailed information regarding the fertiliser and precise application of it. This benefits our clients as they can have improved pasture production with less product and time inputs. Maximize coverage while minimizing waste. Details of all applications can be captured and stored in TracMap online system for future reference and reporting. This system also links up with a variety of cutting edge farm management programs such as Hawkeye.
